For hard-charging skiers who do not know what a speed limit is, the Volkl Katana 108 skis with bindings is the killer deal for you. Built much like the other Volkl skis in the freeride line, the Katana 108 is the rebirth of a name and a personality, but in a whole new mold and build. Fans of the older Katana will love the stability and strength of the Katana 108. Additionally, skiers who love the new design of the Kendo or Mantra will find a wider version of those skis with power and flotation to spare. The titanal frame wraps around the ski and creates a ton of precision to the edges of the ski. For firmer snow, these things are unflinching-capable of going anywhere on the mountain at any speed. Skilled pilots will glean the best performance out of the Katana 108, as the weight can be a bit prohibitive for lighter or less-experienced skiers. When you put them on edge, you'll quickly realize that they're all there. They need to be coaxed to make the high-performance turns that they're built for, so they do require some speed to really make them sing. But if you want to go fast and have the stability of a world cup race ski, this is the build to do it, especially in fresh, soft, or broken snow. 3D radius sidecut is the new best thing for skis, and Volkl does a good job integrating it into their wider skis as well. This allows for a variety of turn shapes and styles for the rebirth of a classic big mountain ski.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
