Antique Bundt Cake Mold Rockingham Type Glaze - 9 1/2" ~ signed - Beautiful

Description

Offered is a beautiful antique redware cake mold with a splotched glaze that looks like a Rockingham type glaze.  The mold is signed but the signature is impossible to read - see pics.  The mold is 9 1/2" in diameter, 3 3/4" in height - the center tube is about 1/2" taller than the rim of the mold.  The sides are fluted - 11 flutes in total - and the center tube is straight, not twisted as in many turks head mold.  The piece has a few glaze nicks on the top rim and overall age appropriate crazing.  There are some knife marks on the glaze on the bottom but they do not go through the mold. The bottom of the mold is unglazed and has a bit of old shelf paint residue. Beautiful display piece - obvious lead glaze on the mold.
