Now you don't have to brave the 54-degree water of the Pacific to snag an official Escape From Alcatraz duffle bag.....you can simply obtain one on eBay.   This bag is from the 2017 race and while it is used, it has not been used all that much since i have many other duffles and backpacks from other races.  There are zip pockets on every side, and even pockets within pockets.
Soft-sided duffle bags are hard to get measurements for, but here is an approximate estimate based on me putting in some pillows:  it expands to around 23L x 16W.  It is good sized.
