    Description

This beautiful piece of jewelry is of a feathered saluki leaping. The saluki breed originated in the middle eastern countries. They were originally bred for coursing live game (gazelle and hare ) and had to be very fast and agile.  This pin shows the fine muscling and graceful look of the breed.  It is a real beauty. It is one of my creations. Shown is a pin, but it also is available as a necklace, just ask. It is        2 3/4" by 1 3/8 ". (I'm Cindy A. Conter, canine artist, Maverickscool, saluki owner). This is a very nice saluki piece.   It is cast in lead-free pewter, very detailed and will make a lovely addition to your personal collection of dog jewelry or a wonderful gift for a friend.  Shop my ebay store, CAC Designs, to see other dog and saluki jewelry and artwork....
(I owned salukis from 1974 to the late 90's and have done artwork of sighthounds since 1972.)
I sculpt the original, make the casting mold, cast, finish it to resemble antiqued silver, and sign each piece of jewelry I create. I am a dog artist and vendor gone EBAY. Cindy A. Conter
