Joe St. Clair Art Glass Paperweight Candle Holder
or Bud Vase Orange & Green Floral
Vintage Joe St. Clair glass paperweight with green base and orange flowers. Controlled bubbles in each of the 5 trumpet-style flowers and on the base between each flower. The emerald green base forms a short plume in the center.
This candle holder or vase stands about 3 1/2 inches tall. The long neck measures 1 3/8 inches and then has a slight flare, but is not crimped as in most of their vases. The ball of the candle holder measures 2 3/8 inch diameter. The opening is about 1 inch diameter.  It is in very nice condition and is embossed on the bottom Joe St. Clair in uppercase letters.
I have been trying to figure out what the purpose of this glass paperweight is. I really think it is too short to be a bud vase. I thought maybe a small perfume, but it doesn't have a stopper and the glass isn't prepared for a stopper. I took a picture with a tapered candle and I do believe this is what it is for - short tapered candles.
