STATUE OF TANTRIC GUARDIAN DIKPALA NEPAL TIBET
This is a copper statue of the Tantric guardian Dikpala Khroda Aparajita, with twelve arms holding a bell, axe, noose, skull cup, dorje, damaru amongst others & his Yum with a skull cup in one hand & a kartika(chopper) in the other. Made by the lost wax process in Nepal, this is a particularly difficult statue to cast. Quite beautifully done he has a sort of flayed elephant skin on his back with a big face at his bottom, & he carries a large staff.. The statue is 8" tall. .
