EMBROIDERED HAIR ATTACHMENT TIBET
A traditional old embroidered cloth piece from Eastern Tibet, that was attached at the back of the head & hung down to below the waist. Khampa women wear extraordinarily imaginative clothes, which makes them really different & fashionable. There are many embroidered flowers & two snow lions as well. I bought this at Kumbum Gompa near lake Koko Nor in 1989. This looks great hanging on the wall. 44" long by 3 1/2" wide.
