    Description

    Vintage Green Glass Compote Dish Bowl on Cast Metal Pedestal Dish 7.5". Nice jewelry/ candy dish / Hollywood regency style ashtray or centerpiece with a sea serpent holding up green frosted glass dish (6” across).
    This depiction of a dolphin, fish, or sea serpent was common in adornments in the era of Queen Victoria, mid to late 1800's. Some minor marks on the glass dish. Measures 7.5" tall and the glass is 6" in diameter.
